Nice thin (standard) tenugui to effectively keep sweat away from the eyes when worn on the head, or, as I personally prefer to use it, perfect size, hardly noticeable and very light weight mini-”towel” to keep inside the fold of my dogi for wiping away sweat during keiko as needed.

Color of the Seido logo design (i.e. Do/Michi-kanji) seems to keep well even after numerous short cold (30-40’C) cycles in the washing machine and fraying of the short sides is minimal and as expected.
Recommended, get yours and perhaps a few extra tenugui to spare.

I thought it was a thicker towel but it's more a thin peace of cotton - but that's the way it has to be. Lesson learned. I like it but I think nearly nine € is a bit too much.

This is my second Tenugui. I've got first one about 2 years ago and it still doing it's job well. At first, I was not sure that thin material will be able to absorb all sweat during practice. Also, I was a little concerned that sides will come loose. I have to admit that I was wrong - to my surprise, Tenugui keeps me sweat-free during all 1,5-2 hours of practice. And slightly loose sides are giving me sense of hand-made product and connection to tradition.
On top of all - Tenugui is weightless!

i like it a lot , i bought two pieces , the only thing i would ask is to slightly modify the sides of the piece.

Just recieved my two tenugui .. they are soft and really confortable . it took 8 days since i placed the order ..
