Great construction, and is the best option on the market for your money. Most are not intended for training or use, this one is. Only on one did the wrapping on one the handle immediately started to unravel from 30min of training. It was a fast fix. And I suspect it was probably a minor oversight.
I am very happy with the overall condition and quality of the product. Even with the minor error.

Métal extra solide, poids avec sensation sur l'avant, ne pas s'entrainer trop au début pour ne pas blesser les tendons. Même le coton est agréable à la saisie et l'effet d'une frappe est sensationnel. C'est pourquoi il faut une bonne maitrise entre deux coups pour assumer que c'est un métal lourd et pas du bois. Seul hic: le crochet n'est pas entièrement soudé ou collé, j'ai mis un peu de Superglue pour être sûr. Vu la taille du crochet, contrairement à d'autres jutte, une main ne passe pas, ni un poignet, un doigt oui. Pour des petites mains la poignée est parfaite, pour des plus grandes ou grosses c'est juste. Mais retenons dans l'ensemble les points poisitifs et la chance d'en avoir, impossible d'en avoir ailleurs avec la même confiance au niveau de la vente et du payement que chez Seido comme toujours.

I am not a martial arts practitioner, simply one who is fascinated by weapons and collecting them in their many forms. I have wanted to add a jitte to my collection, but until I found Seidoshop I did not find one I trusted buying. Seido not only delivered incredibly quickly from Japan to the US, but the piece itself is clearly quality. I got the wicker wrapped version, and it feels good in the hand, with a nice weight to it. While I am not trained in it's usage myself, I do not doubt it would be effective in the hands of one who is. I will definitely be using Seido again to acquire some other pieces for my collection.
