幅広黒帯「居合タイプ」

普段使用している角帯とは違った着用感ですが、適度な厚みと幅で刀を固定出来ます。
思っていた以上に使いやすく、安定感も良いです。
長時間の使用でも疲れないので、これからも愛用していきます。

This is a very well constructed, thick and sturdy iaiobi. I find that the tightness of its folds are easier to dial in than thinner or stretchy fabric.

The quality and the feeling is nice. The only thing is that I have a 89cm waist and I bought size 3 which is 300cm. When I tie the belt the knot ends become short. So it just fits and it might be a little bit difficult to tie. Still it can be tied in different methods. However, I liked the way it looks with its short ends and fits nice. So I might suggest size 4, which is 50 cm longer, to ones who has the average same waist size with me for more comfortable tying or if have some fitting concerns.

La qualité semble excellente et la broderie (en orange doré) est vraiment superbe, tout-à-fait conforme à la commande. J'en viens à regretter d'avoir un prénom si court :p

Seul petit bémol pour lequel Seido ne peut rien, les frais conséquents (~25%) de taxes et douanes à régler au livreur DHL à l'arrivée (contrairement à ma dernière commande sur BudoExport). Un colis postal aurait peut-être permis de les éviter (à tester), le paquet ne contenant que 2 ceintures (iaiobi et kakuobi).
Mais bon, au vu de la qualité du produit, de la vitesse, du service et conseil, et de l'éthique de vente de Seido, c'est un désagrément bien mineur pour moi.

I took advantage of a discount coupon and ordered a wide, Iaiobi, aikido black belt. Coming up through the kyu's I'd always had a generic martial arts gi belt. I was amazed at the difference a wide belt made in my posture. While still comfortable, the belt helped me to be more erect. It also made a wider knot which made my Hakama more secure.
It is the custom of our budo to wear a black belt until it disintegrates. Since I knew I would be wearing the belt for many years I decided to have it personalized. I had my name and that of our budo embroidered on each end of the belt. The people at Seido went to great pains to ensure that the spellings were accurate. THE BELT LOOKS GREAT! I'm appreciative of the instructions the order page gave for picking the correct size belt. Had I just gotten the same length as my old belt, it would have been too short.
The cost for expedited shipping was minimal and I was wearing my new iaiobi in less than a week after I hit the "order" button.
I've always been satisfied with the gear I've bought from Seido but I'm REALLY pleased with this purchase!
