| 彫りの深さ | 彫りの深さのご希望を承ることが可能です。深彫りになるほど、濃い焼き具合となります。 浅彫りは薄い焦げ色です。深さは0.5 mm前後です。 普通彫りはやや焦げ色がつきます。深さは1 mm以下です。 深彫りは濃いめの焦げ色です。彫りが鮮明です。深さは1 mmから1.5 mmです。（木刀の刃や杖中心に入れる場合、武器の強度を弱める可能性があるため、推奨しておりません。） 木材と文字サイズによっては、ご希望の深さを承れない場合がございます。 |

丈夫な帆布製で、底部分には重さや衝撃にも耐えられるように、合皮で補強が施してあります。シンプルで飽きのこない無地の武器袋のため、長くお使い頂けます。

椿油(木製武器手入れ用)

成分:100%天然椿油

国産の100%天然椿油です。
木刀や杖の手入れ用に使用します。ニス無し(油磨き)仕上げの武器に大変お勧めです。
70mlと118mlのサイズはガラス瓶、１L、1.8Lのサイズは缶での販売となります。
【使用方法】
ニス仕上げの武器の場合：使用し始めてから1～2年ぐらいで、紙やすりで磨き、仕上げに椿油をたっぷり塗ります。さらに、1～2ヶ月後にも再び椿油を塗ります。
ニス無し(油磨き)仕上げの武器の場合：出荷前に当ショップにて一度椿油で磨いています。ニス無し木刀を最適な状態で長くお使い頂くために、実際に使用し始めてから1～2ヶ月後に椿油で磨いて下さい。 その後は定期的に1～2ヶ月に1回、同様に椿油で磨いて下さい。

Red Oak, White Oak or Isu no Ki available
Used primarily in the school Jiki Shinkage to practice techniques against Naginata, this Tanto, also classified as Shoto (Wakizashi) by the Jiki Shinkage Ryu, is available in white oak, red oak and Isu no Ki. The relatively long, thin and pointed shape allows to keep it almost as light as a standard Tanto, ensuring a fast and easy handling.
The Tanto Jiki Shinkage Ryu is 7 cm longer than the standard model used in Aikido, and therefore a great instrument to do Tanto Dori with heightened attention, while being an excellent educational tool for teachers. This Tanto is used by several schools, including the Kishinkai in France.
- Choice of wood species: red oak, white oak, Isu no ki.
- Available finish: Standard Finish or Seido Special Finish.

Finish options:
In 2021, with concerns for the workers, all workshops greatly reduced the number of urethane varnished weapons and replaced the finish by a "Candle Wax". Seido is now transitioning to a new finish offer for the majority of its weapons.
Standard Finish: At Seido, we complete the workshop finish with Camelia oil treatment by default. This is the standard Seido finish.
We do not apply any additional polishing for this finish, so some weapons might have a slightly rough surface.
For maintenance, we recommend that you oil your weapons about once a month with a vegetal based oil.Seido Special Finish: For this special Finish, we first apply a Camelia oil polish (oiling and sanding the weapons with oiled sand paper), then we finish the weapon with high quality beeswax. This finish makes the wood as smooth as it can be and guarantee an excellent protection for several months.
For maintenance, we recommend at least to oil your weapons every month or so. You can also apply wax a few hours after oiling your weapons (if some oil remains on the wood, remove it with a piece of cloth or tissue).Jiki Shinkage Ryu Tanto Specifications Wood Akagashi

About Jiki Shinkage Ryu Naginata:
The Kashima Shinden Jikishinkage Ryu evolved from the Shinkage Ryu and the Kage Ryu, which both have disappeared. Its beginnings are situated in the 16th century and attributed to Matsumoto Bizen No Kami Naokatsu.
But the Naginata version is much more recent. Developed in the late 19th century by Satake Yoshinori, a former Jiki Shinkage Ryu student and his whife Satake Shigeo. An emphasis is placed on preserving the Kata in its original form and leaves very little room for improvisation. This art was rapidly introduced into girl's schools, which explains why most practitioners are, still today, women. Jiki Shinkage Ryu Naginata became famous after the victory of several well-known teachers over Kendo practitioners, but the school does no longer focus on competition.
