Chose the deluxe Nishijin carry bag for a precious Katana to generally protect it but also raise the expectation of what the bag might contain! More than lived up to my wishes. Thrilled to know it is made in Japan with traditional weaving and design. The blue is simply stunning. But now tempted to order the purple as well. Can't believe how overall impressed I have been with Seido - the website, the organisation, the explanations, the general ambience of the team that comes through on the website and the attention to detail. There was clear communication throughout the whole purchase which was very reassuring given I was dealing with a company far away in Japan. The parcel arrived well packaged, within 3 days of ordering despite all the possible potential problems with international couriers at the moment. I have not been charged any import duty (to my knowledge). Heard it only applies to purchases over £135 to the UK. Will be getting back on that website!

J'ai opté pour le modèle bleu (deluxe), il est encore plus beau que sur la photo, la qualité est simplement irréprochable ! Contrairement à ce que peut laisser penser la photo, le cordon est violet (et donc moins sombre que sur les photos).

I bought one of each colour as I couldn’t choose between them! The purple is very beautiful, quite dark, and the pattern tessellates very attractively. The blue bag’s hue is somewhat darker than suggested by the pictures. It’s more lapis lazuli , tending toward navy blue in subdued lighting, but looks very classy indeed. I will be using the blue on my beloved shinken and the purple for my training Iaito.

I ordered this back along with my iaito because I did not realize the iaito came with a bag. Still, I am so glad I did. I got the "deluxe" bag in blue and it is stunning. The photograph really cannot do it justice. The blue is vibrant and rich, and the woven flowers are metallic. I was almost afraid to put my iaito in it, it was so beautiful!

Along with being simply gorgeous, this bag is reasonably padded and made of two layers, the outside and the lining. I feel that my iaito is well protected inside of it. This bag is quite long for my sword, but that makes sense because it needs to be able to accommadate longer swords.

I like that Seido gave notifications of where the product was during shipping. Overall, fantastic service, and beautiful and practical bag.

The product is top notch. Seido shipped quickly and delivery took about a week. Above all that, what I really liked was the clear email communication (eg. order has been shipped, tracking details etc) and that the item was packed very well for transit.

Seidoshop once again delivers like lightning.
