Embroidered Iaido Zekken

This product is for a Zekken as a stand alone product. We will not attach it to a jacket, even if ordered simultanously. To order a Zekken sewed/attached to an Iaido jacket, see the Zekken option on each Iaido jacket.

This Zekken is made to order in our high quality embroidery workshop. We offer 3 types of fabric, Tetron (polyester/rayonne) #8000 Cotton and Waraku Cotton. The Waraku cotton is similar to the fabric used for our Iaido jackets and is available in black and in white. #8000 Cotton is similar to the cotton used for our Hakama and is available in black and navy.

All our Zekken have a double layer, which means that the embroidery thread is not visible on the back. It is thus of much better quality and allows a good fixation by magic tape on the back (optionnal).

Usual positions:
- 1. Top (horizontal): for the Dojo name, in English or Japanese
- 2. Center (vertical): for your name, in Japanese
- 3. Bottom (horizontal): for your name, in English

Letter size: The letter size will be adjusted to fit at the biggest size possible depending on the contents requested. More letters requested, smaller the letter size.

Total size: 10 cm x 15 cm.
Please note that customers having a very long name (over 10 letters in English, over 5 or 6 letters in Japanese) are recommended to use a nickname or short name, at least for the center position in Japanese. If your name is too long to fit, our customer service will contact you within 2 working days.

Embroidery area: about 8 cm x 13 cm.

Fixation (optionnal): The magic tape will be sewn on the Zekken back side and we will also provide a matching piece of magic tape to sew on your existing jacket.

Languages: You can select the language for each position at your convenience.
Fonts (style): Gyoshotai (cursive) or Kaishotai (Standard) for Japanese and Block or Cursive for English (cursive will always be lowercase and is therefore not possible for the center vertical position). Transcription is free. If you type your name in English and select a Japanese font, we will make the transcription in Japanese.
The transcription if free of charge, but feel free to attach a file if you already have your name or dojo name translated or if you already have a Zekken. Note that we do extensive research before transcripting names and that our transcription choice will not be discussed if no transcription/image has been provided.

Logo or flag embroideries must be discussed prior to your order. Requests not discussed in advance will be ignored.
